JDavis Architects Announces New Construction Administrator

Jeff Davis, president of JDavis Architects, PLLC, a full-service architecture, landscape architecture and interior design firm, has announced that David Gikaru has joined the firm as a construction administrator. In this position, he will be responsible for monitoring daily on-site and off-site construction activities, as well as overseeing construction performance, budget review, quality assurance and project goals. Working in conjunction with project managers, Gikaru will serve as a liaison between clients, contractors and consultants during the design and development of all activities related to construction.

Gikaru has 16 years of experience in the industry, and previously worked for Wilson & Associates Architects and Genoa Construction Services in Atlanta. He received a Bachelor of Science in Architecture at Southeast University in Nanjing, China, as well as a Master’s degree in Construction Management from Southern Polytechnic State University in Marietta, Ga. Gikaru resides in Raleigh.
