This fall, Delphi Academy of San Diego completed its year-long facility enhancement project, which included building a new playground from scratch and painting several new murals to brighten up the building.

The project was started last summer to create a much improved playground for Delphi Academy students, as well as to add several murals, done by Los Angeles artist Mike Dover, to liven up the building. This fall the project was completed to the excitement of the students.

One student said, "It's awesome! The slide is bigger. We have our own monkey bars bigger than the little kids ones!" And another student said, "It's great! The twisty slide and the high monkey bars are cool!"

Even the faculty are enthused by the renovations. Caryn Hall, Delphi Academy faculty, "It's colorful and vibrant. It also raises the physical activity of our students. And it's really cool and fun!"

Delphi Academy of San Diego is an independent, coeducational and non-sectarian day school offering regular school year and summer programs for kindergarten through sixth grade students. It is licensed to use Applied Scholastics(TM) educational services (http://www.AppliedScholastics.Org).
