3B Hosts National Osteoporosi Week

Dubai – November 2005 – The 3B (Better Bone Belt) National Alliance for Osteoporosis together with Al Marai alerted the women of UAE on the proper management and treatment of osteoporosis through a series of lectures and screenings in Dubai and Abu Dhabi during the 3rd National Osteoporosis Week.

The last day of the Osteoporosis Week in Holiday Centre was highlighted by a free testing and lecture on osteoporosis, which was delivered by Dr. Humaira Naseer, Specialist Endocrinologist and American Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Endocrinology & Diabetes.

"I am glad that I was invited to become a part of 3B’s noble mission to spread osteoporosis awareness in the UAE. It is high time that women empower themselves by not letting this silent disease take over their lives," says Dr. Naseer.

The event was held last Thursday at the main lobby of the Holiday Centre Sheikh Zayed Road.
