March 23, 2005 Dallas, TX — CONNECTIONS™: The Digital Home Conference and Showcase will offer a comprehensive examination of the value chain for digital entertainment with a special session from the Multimedia over Coax Alliance (MoCA™) featuring perspectives from each key point along that continuum.

This special session, titled Realizing The Digital Entertainment Value Chain Through The Home Network, will take place on May 12 at 2:45 p.m. CONNECTIONS™: The Digital Home Conference and Showcase, produced by Parks Associates in partnership with the Consumer Electronics Association, will take place May 11-13, 2005, at the Hyatt Regency near the San Francisco Airport in Burlingame, Calif.

"The landscape for digital living services and technologies is multilayered, with technologists, retail entities, manufacturers, and service operators all part of the mix," said Tricia Parks, president of Parks Associates. "MoCA™ has the breadth of knowledge and experience to offer a truly complete examination of this market space. Our attendees will benefit greatly from MoCA’s presence at CONNECTIONS™."

According to Parks Associates, approximately 30 million U.S. households have a broadband connection, 50 million have either digital cable or direct broadcast satellite (DBS) television service, 18+ million households have a data networking solution, and 75% of U.S. households have a DVD player. As the number of advanced products and services increases, also boosting the number of companies involved in these digital markets, both the complexity and potential for these markets have escalated.

"CONNECTIONS™ is the premier industry conference for creating greater understanding of the future of the digital home," said Ladd Wardani, president of MoCA™. "This session provides a great opportunity for people interested in learning about the new home digital entertainment network to hear from key contributors with real-world experience across the value chain."
