As part of the British Interactive Media Association (BIMA) continued commitment to regional events, the Manchester’s Circle Club will host a digital showcase on 7th December 2005. Aimed at the digital industries in the North West of England, a selection of this year’s BIMA award winners will be invited to share insights and tips on the leading interactive work produced in the last twelve months.
Chris Conlan, BIMA member and client services director at magneticNorth is thrilled that BIMA is bringing expert advice on winning awards to the thriving digital industry in the North. He says: "BIMA recognises that those of us not based in and around London play an enormous role in developing the digital market. The first of BIMA’s series of North West events will focus on helping our flourishing interactive practices gain recognition nationally and internationally."
The event will be introduced by BIMA vice Chair, Mark Iremonger. Together with BIMA judge, Darrell Wilkins, the executive will highlight some of the best work at this year’s BIMA awards. Wilkins will provide insight into the judging process, revealing what it takes to be a winner. This year’s winners will be invited to demonstrate their campaigns and share stories behind the development of their winning entries.
The Circle Club in Manchester was selected as the most accessible venue. The event is designed to encourage Northern members to network and meet industry peers in the area.
The event takes place at 6.30 pm on the 7th December at the Circle Club in Barton Arcade, Manchester. Entrance is £15 for BIMA members and just £30 for non-members. Canapés and complimentary drinks will be available on the night.
