Ernest Jones launches Wishlist Facebook application

To create a buzz around this innovative campaign, the Ernest Jones wishlist competition is supported by 22 influential fashion and lifestyle bloggers. The bloggers were given a sneak preview of the Ernest Jones Summer 2012 collection of jewellery and watches, including popular luxury and fashion brands such as Marco Bicego, Marc Jacobs and Michael Kors. The Ernest Jones Summer 2012 collection draws inspiration from the key trends for the season featuring sweet sorbets, molten metallics and mighty bright colour pops designed to complement and complete a summer wardrobe. Throughout April and May the bloggers have written about the trends and the pieces in the Ernest Jones collection, created their own wishlists to share with their readers, and encouraged them to do the same.

To create a wishlist users are required to ‘Like’ the Ernest Jones Facebook page, where they can then access the Ernest Jones wishlist application. Customers are then automatically directed to the Ernest Jones website where they can ‘Like’ any product in the range of jewellery and watches. Once a product has been liked it is automatically added to their Ernest Jones wishlist. When three items have been liked, an Ernest Jones wishlist is generated which users can then share with their friends and family via their Facebook wall for a chance to win an item from their wishlist up to the value of £1000.

In order to enter the prize draw, consumers should visit the Ernest Jones Facebook page to create their wishlist for a chance to win. The Ernest Jones wishlist competition is running until 17 July 2012.
