The online bathroom retailer is offering the use of its delivery van, when available, to help charities with a range of small tasks. So far, homeless charity Roundabout and a local cat shelter have taken up the offer and used the WD Bathrooms van, usually used to transport discounted suites and lighter bathroom items, to move various other items around.

Charity work is an important part of the online retailer's business ethics. WD Bathrooms supports local charities in a number of ways. Recently, staff raised £70 for brain tumour awareness charity, Sophie's Wish, by taking part in the wear a hat day with all staff in the office and warehouse sporting head gear for a day.

Mark Wilson, Managing Director of WD Bathrooms said: "We are proud to be able to help charities in our home city who are doing some great work in the community. If there are local charity groups out there that need to use our delivery van then they should get in touch and we'll see what we can do to help."
