Peak District boutique hotel, The Maynard, has announced dates for its model auditions, which will see locals get the chance to be Kate Moss or David Ginola for a day! Anyone who has always fancied the idea of becoming a model is invited to come forward to feature in The Maynard’s new literature, which will be posted out to customers all over the UK as well as several abroad – including Australia, Canada and Europe.
Auditions will be held at The Maynard on Saturday 29 March, with the shoot set to take place on Saturday 5 April. No experience is necessary. Your name will be put on a list and you will be called back once audition times are known for Saturday 29 March.
Paul Downing, director of The Maynard, said: "The hotel’s transformation to become the first boutique hotel in the Peak District is almost complete, and we are on track for an early April opening. The new look and feel of the hotel needed to be reflected in our marketing literature, and we have gone for a radical contemporary style in keeping with the new room designs themselves.
"Professional and semi-professional models have already been lined up for the majority of the photo-shoot. We are looking for men as well as women at our auditions, and if our panel of experts think you have what it takes to be the face of The Maynard for the next few years, you will be invited back to the hotel for a real life photo-shoot the following Saturday."
The panel of judges will include The Maynard’s marketing manager, Liz Downing, who herself is a former actress and fashion model.
The Maynard gets enquiries via the internet from all over the UK and internationally, so the lucky model or models could literally be seen anywhere once the new hotel brochures are produced.
In return for giving their time for the photo-shoot, the lucky winner or winners will receive a meal for two free of charge on The Maynard, and a free model’s photographic portfolio so you can use the assignment as a springboard for your modelling career.
