Toolbox Introduce Clearance Specials to the Website

Toolbox is most commonly known for their large range of power and hand tools, tool storage equipment and work wear. Whilst featuring heavily in search engines and other similar online marketing avenues, Toolbox have become quite a popular name due to word of mouth and recommendations after the positive experiences customers have received.

Currently the website generates a significant amount of traffic throughout the site which encompasses thousands upon thousands of individual pages and items to buy. Although the visitors to the website are focused, the marketing department reckon they can focus it more and drive the traffic directly to a special offers page or ‘clearance power tools’. Scott Morris, E-Commerce Manager comments on this latest plan:

"We’re always up for trying new things and we’ve seen a lot of success on our mail shots by providing limited time special offers and deals on certain ranges of equipment. As such, we’re trying to harness this potential on the website as well by creating a page or group of our latest and greatest offers. This ‘clearance power tools’ section will be focused on tools that are becoming end of line and need to be got rid of, mixed with big selling, popular products and those that are significantly good value for money.

"Hopefully, if we pick a good selection of equipment, there will be a little something for everyone who comes to the page, no matter what they were originally looking for."

The clearance group officially goes live on the 1st November 2012 and will contain a lot of products from the October sale with even more discount added to them. These special deals are literally some of the best offers that will be available online; due to this, the demand will be extremely high and coupled with low stocks, it’s likely that these deals won’t be around long.

Toolbox are looking to update this clearance section monthly, so it will definitely pay off to check back at the start of every month to find the latest deals on offer whilst they’re still fresh and in stock. A sneak peek of the group shows a Makita cordless power tool kit for less than £160 and this looks set to be the big seller of the group.

The Toolbox website is currently ran from the new, rebranded and ever-expanding Online Home Retail Network (click here for more information) which at present hosts around 50 separate niche sites. These sites sell a range of items varying from radiators and shower screens to snow shovels & decorating tools. Online Home Retail Limited first started out as Plumbworld Ltd back in 1999 and since then it has been bought by the Grafton Group PLC in 2006 and received a major rebrand in 2012. The business now employs 60 people in its purpose built warehouse/offices and has a total turnover nearing £25 million per year.
