[ClickPress, Tue Mar 29 2005] Atlanta, GA–Work Like A Dog Books knows real estate professionals work hard for a living. As a Realtor, what's the craziest thing that has happened to you? Here is your chance to share your unique story with Realtors everywhere. Work Like A Dog Books is compiling funny, outrageous, and heartwarming stories for All In a Day's Work for Realtors®—Humorous and Heartwarming Stories.
The book will be a compilation of true stories by real estate professionals detailing funny, heartwarming, and one-of-a-kind stories about the many things that can and have happened to Realtors in the course of their jobs. It will be a book for Realtors, by Realtors.
Entries are being sought by real estate professionals across the country for possible publication in the upcoming book. Believed to be the first of its kind, All In a Day's Work for Realtors®—Humorous and Heartwarming Stories is designed to celebrate and acknowledge this often misunderstood career field. "Many people have the misguided notion that being a real estate professional is easy or that you don't have to do much work to make money in this field," stated TC McClenning, of Work Like a Dog Books. "My career path has taken me behind the scenes in real estate for the last several years and I can honestly say nothing could be further from the truth."
TC related that Realtors, as a whole, are an amazing group of people who sacrifice a lot for their profession, including many evenings, weekends and holidays to help clients buy or sell real estate. During the course of doing their jobs, many heartwarming, funny, and strange things happen.
"That's where this book comes in. It's designed to be a celebration of the real estate field and all the hardworking people who call this their profession. It's my hope the finished book will serve as an escape for agents on those difficult days of setbacks or as a motivator when a laugh or a little inspiration is needed to carry on."
Stories can be about anything relating to real estate. Examples include transportation problems while out with clients; crazy things that happen when real estate agents go out in groups for caravans/open houses; embarrassing moments; being locked in or out of a property, car, or building; getting hopelessly lost; communication breakdowns; humorous stories involving pets or kids; technology helping or hindering a situation; going above and beyond to make a deal work; the power of persistence; a story about one's all-time strangest client; oddest requests or stipulations that have had to be worked out for a deal to close, etc.
All In a Day's Work for Realtors®—Humorous and Heartwarming Stories is scheduled to be published this fall by Work Like a Dog Books. For more information, visit www.WorkLikeaDogBooks.com.
