Delivery waiting times slashed for Click Bathrooms’ customers

The online bathroom retailer has introduced new software that enables customers to pick a delivery date at the online checkout when they buy. If the bathroom products are in stock at the company’s large Sheffield warehouse, they can receive their goods even faster.

Instead of waiting in all day for a call from the courier, they receive a call the night before the delivery date giving them a three-hour time slot so they don’t have to waste a whole day waiting for their new bathroom to arrive.

The two-man delivery team will also bring the goods into any ground floor room of the house. The new system improves delivery times and the accuracy of the schedules and means customers are not kept waiting around.

Managing Director Mark Wilson said: "Waiting all day for a delivery can be frustrating so we have improved out system to help customers get their new bathroom at a time that is more convenient for them. This new approach is better for our delivery staff who can plan their day, and for the customers who spend less time waiting around"
