[ClickPress, Tue Apr 02 2013] New fashion site, www.styledbynoir.com, launches today, merging style blog and e-commerce. Combining the wearable styling of today’s fashion blogs with the ease of online shopping, styled by NOIR is the first fashion blog that you can shop directly from the site.
NOIR founders, Stephanie Jenkins and Sivan Ayla Vardi, have been apart of the fashion blogger community for years; Vardi, a blogger herself and Jenkins working with them on public relations strategies for clients. After seeing the rise of these online fashion ‘personalities’ and the ability for bloggers to drive referral traffic, the two partners decided to take the concept of fashion blogging and merge it with a full functioning e-commerce- something that does not currently exist in the market.
The site, styled by NOIR, will feature one new “look” each day, with a number of photos, featuring a head to toe outfit that can be worn as either a daily outfit or special occasion wear. The factor that separates NOIR from the rest of the existing fashion blogs is the users ability to purchase the products directly on the site. Instead of having to visit numerous sites to purchase a whole outfit, NOIR is a one-stop shop, allowing users to shop from the featured outfits and purchase them, all in the same place!
NOIR is launching with a number of their favorite brands from the industry including 6 Shore Road, BLANKNYC, Botkier, Dolce Vita, Kris Nations, LNA, Lovers + Friends, Maison BOINET, Nightcap, Natalie B Jewelry, Rachel Pally, RAEN Optics and Rails. The site will feature fashion at an entry-level price point for the contemporary market focusing on both everyday staples and trend pieces.
About the Founders:
Sivan Ayla Vardi, Co-Founder & Creative Director
With a degree in Business Management & Visual Communication from FIDM, Sivan has taken her creative eye and love for style and put it to good use with various brands in both wholesale and branding roles. Launching her own lifestyle blog over a year ago, Sivan has joined in the ever-changing online blog-o-sphere and has created a cult-like following.
Stephanie Jenkins, Co-Founder & Market Director
Stephanie started out her career in fashion as a buyer and visual merchandiser. After graduating with a degree in Communications, Stephanie spent over five years in fashion and e-commerce public relations working with both big box brands and up and coming brands on public relations and branding concepts. Having worked with a wide variety of brands in different genres, Stephanie has sculpted an eye for identifying key pieces in the market place.
