CUbRIK Summer School - Rhodes July 2-4, 2014

The EU project CUbRIK (Human Enhanced Time Aware Multimedia Search) is glad to announce the CUbRIK Summer School that will be held in Ixia, in the island of Rhodes, at the Sheraton Rhodes Resort from July 2-4, 2014.

Participants will learn how to design and develop solutions that mix machine and human computation intelligence for search-based applications.

Locally supported by the Information Technologies Institute of the Centre for Research and Technology Hellas, who is partner in CUbRIK, the event aims to engage students, researchers, and practitioners in theoretical and practical aspects of multimedia search empowered by social media, crowdsourcing and serious gaming technologies. The hottest opportunities for deployment in an industrial perspective will be illustrated, including CUbRIK applications by domains (Fashion and Humanities) and SocialSensor technologies and tools (News Media Industry).

Research advances will be discussed with project representatives and top international experts.
Invited speakers are key representatives of reference academic institutions and industrial companies in multimedia

REGISTRATION AND LOGISTICS

Participation is free of charge, nevertheless attendance is limited to 50 participants, their admission is based on evaluation of applicants curricula and experience.
