Electric Pocket announces a first-of-its-kind feature for any portable MP3 player: the ability, with the tap of a single button, to automatically connect to the Internet to find and download Album Art for MP3 tunes. The Album Art will be displayed anytime its corresponding tracks are played on the device. This new feature is included in the latest version of Electric Pocket’s Busker MP3 player for Palm OS(r) PDAs and smartphones, such as the popular Treo 650 from palmOne.

"The Art Finder in Electric Pocket’s Busker MP3 player is an excellent example of the technologies we like to showcase," said Larry Berkin, director of developer marketing, for PalmSource. "This is an application that demonstrates how seamless use of wireless connectivity can add a new dimension to an everyday experience like listening to music."

Busker, which has been much praised for its bright and breezy user interface and simple approach to music selection and playback, has been updated with seamless integration to Amazon.com’s extensive product catalogue. Users can update their Album Art collections simply by clicking on one button in Busker, instantly activating the process of connecting to Amazon.com’s Web Services platform and wirelessly downloading Album Art images that correspond to the tracks stored on the user’s SD card.
"Busker approaches mobile music on the Palm Powered(tm) platform in a fresh way – we love making things as easy to use as they possibly can be," said Iain Barclay, Electric Pocket’s Chief Product Officer. "The Art Finder is a great example of Electric Pocket’s approach to adding simple, yet highly compelling features to wireless applications."
