Greene Resources Named To Entrepreneur Magazine’s Hot 100

Greene Resources, Inc. (www.greeneresources.com) has been named to Entrepreneur magazine’s 2008 Hot 100 List, the 14th annual listing of America’s fastest-growing entrepreneurial companies. The Raleigh-based recruiting solutions company ranked number 54 on this year’s list, representing the only selection from the Triangle and the only recruiting firm in North Carolina. All Hot 100 companies were featured in the magazine’s May issue.

Entrepreneur’s Hot 100 List is based on financial statistics researched and confirmed by Enterpriser magazine and the Washington D.C.-based research organization CentrisPoint. More than 21 million businesses nationwide were considered. Greene Resources was selected from 64,000 – or 3 percent of the 21 million U.S. businesses – that met the following criteria:

• Company must have been founded no earlier than 1999 and no later than 2003.
• Company sales in 2003 must be $100,000 or greater; 2007 sales must not exceed $1 billion.
• Company must have positive job growth between 2003 and 2007.
• Company must have a minimum level of sales growth or a sales growth quantifier of 1 or higher between 2003 and 2007.
