Monica Hijau Lestari PT with its masstige brand The Body Shop managed to retain its leadership in fragrances, notching a value share of 14% in 2013. The company invested heavily in new launches, which drove consumers’ interest. One of its new launches during 2013 included The Body Shop White Musk Smoky Rose Eau de Parfum. The new product launched in 2012, the World Fragrance Series by The Body Shop, also performed well and helped to boost the company’s sales in 2013. In addition, The Body Shop witnessed more outlets being opened in 2013, thus reaching more consumers in the country.
