Silversphere to Give Away a Free Emergency Call System to a Senior Living Community in Need

Silversphere, a 65-year veteran in the senior living technology space, is now accepting nominations for this year’s Emergency Call System Giveaway to a not-for-profit senior living community in need. Emergency call systems are a critical part of daily operations for any senior living community. They empower seniors to feel safe and independent, and give families peace of mind. Silversphere recognizes that not every community can afford the latest emergency call technology. That is why Silversphere chooses every year to help one outstanding low-income, not-for-profit senior housing community in need. The recipient community will be provided a brand-new and absolutely free emergency call system, including consultation, components, installation, and real-time management reporting.

For the deserving senior living community of Cedar Lane Senior Living, in Leonardtown, Maryland, last year’s giveaway meant that potentially life-saving technology was finally within reach.

Nominations are now being accepted from community employees, neighboring communities, residents, family members, community residential boards, and anyone else who knows of a deserving community. To qualify, the community must be a United States 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization or a tribe/tribally designated housing entity with a stated mission of providing housing to low-income seniors.

The emergency call system giveaway will be awarded to a selected community in need that demonstrates the importance of bringing housing and services together in a safe and caring environment to meet the needs of lower-income elderly.
