Some brands specialising in women’s clothing like b+ab, Hyoma, Katie Judith and tout à coup are popular amongst female consumers. Meanwhile, the company put much effort into brand-building activities aiming at further enhancement of its brand equity. In 2013, IT Ltd organised several large-scale promotional campaigns for the celebration of its 25th anniversary. For example, it opened a pop-up store and offered special editions for 12 of its in-house brands including Katie Judith, Venilla Suite, Mini Cream and AAPE. Also, the company strategically refined its store networks by renovating the izzue store in Festival Walk and relocating ETE and b+ab stores in Landmark. All these moves allowed IT Ltd to enliven its sales momentum in 2013. Nevertheless, experiencing more intense competition brought by international apparel brands such as H&M, Zara, Uniqlo, Forever 21 and Abercrombie & Fitch, more consumers are turning to them instead of local brands.
