Mobile phones or other gadgets are also used as social status symbols amongst their peers. Replacement cycles therefore shorten as technology is fast changing. Despite, a growing number of more affordable products, primarily those of Chinese and domestic ones, value growth rates remained strong on the back of faster growth in volume units.
