Menu offerings from both brands are differentiated in order to offer consumers more variety and preferences of pizza crust. Pizza Hut is known for its thicker crust, while Pizza Hut Express offers thinner and smaller diameter pizza crust. With more outlets present throughout the country than any of its competitors, the chain retained its leadership throughout the review period and had a value share of 72% in 100% home delivery/takeaway in 2014. Pizza Hut Express owes it strong leadership in the channel to strong brand recognition for Pizza Hut as the leading chained pizza full-service restaurant in Indonesia.
