Viet Thai International JSC, with its brand Highlands Coffee, led sales in 2014, accounting for 27% of total value sales in chained cafés/bars. Highlands Coffee was one of the very first coffee chains to be established in the country. It is well-known for its good quality drinks, professional service and reasonable prices. Highlands Coffee also has the highest number of outlets, which tend to have good locations in big cities. However, its value share fell from 31% in 2013, due to greater competition from other players, notably Starbucks.
