Competitive Landscape

Sarbontex JV was not only the leading domestic company, but it was the leader of all wound care sales in 2015. The widest range of products and excellent distribution network it has established helped Sarbontex JV to increase its share to 36% of total retail value sales. Veropharm OAO held 11% and ranked second in wound care. Tehnokhimpharm PTF closed the top three with its 6% share, which represented a decrease from 7% in 2014. It started losing share to competitively priced domestic products.
