Bayer Pharma leads in dermatologicals, with a 23% value share in 2015, mainly due to the strength of its having the strongest brand in dermatologicals – Bepanthen, a predominantly children’s brand. Bepanthen can be found in nappy (diaper) rash treatments, which is the largest single area in dermatologicals, as well as in paediatric dermatologicals. Thanks to its strong and recognisable positioning the company even managed to record strongest growth in value share in 2015, although all four leading companies also gained value shares over the year.
