Asus Technology (Vietnam) led in computers with a 24% volume share in 2015. In comparison with the previous year, the company also saw the most noticeable share gain of two and a half percentage points. The leading player’s remarkable performance is mainly due to its strength in tablets. The brand has been well known for offering the most affordable yet reputable tablet models. Its FonePad and MemoPad are amongst the cheapest tablets on the market. Additionally, in 2014, Asus Technology’s Asus Transformer T100 convertible tablet model with 500GB of HDD built into the detachable keyboard, made it amongst the bestselling and most affordable tablets in 2014-2015.
