Its strong brand, Harpic, is positioned as a cleaning product that has better cleaning power than bleach. This proves more effective in attracting Singaporean consumers as compared with positioning as a cleaning product that can eliminate germs well. As most Singaporean shoppers are still from the middle-aged and above demographic, products that effectively remove visible stains resonates with them more.
