South Walton Beaches Wine & Food Festival will feature a variety of wine tastings and seminars throughout the four day event. Founder of the Sandestin Wine Festival, which humbly began outside a small wine store at the Market Shops, Chan Cox went on to launch a second festival in 2013. That small wine store has expanded into over six stores from Pensacola to Panama City Beach including Wine Bar Restaurants and Craft Bar Restaurants in several of the stores. Chan’s recent festival has quickly grown into one of the Country’s largest wine events.
On Thursday, April 28th, from 4:00-8:00pm, the VIP Meet and Greet with Winemakers dinner will be hosted by Chan Cox. Live entertainment along with an authentic South Walton menu paired with wine will be served. On Friday, April 29th, from 4:00-6:00pm, the Winemakers and Shakers event will be held at Wine World in Destin. Winemakers from top wineries throughout the globe will present their wines for tasting. From 6:00-9:00pm at Grand Park in Grand Boulevard craft beers and spirits from breweries and distilleries around the country will be available at the Craft Beer and Spirits Jam event.
Over 800 wines will be available to try at the Grand Tasting on Saturday, April 30th and Sunday, May 1st from 1:00-5:00pm throughout the streets of Grand Boulevard. A Culinary Village will serve small bites paired with showcased wines. Tasting Seminars will be set up for attendees to learn how to select and pair wines with food. A Champagne Lane will serve a taste of bubbly and sparkling wines while guests can sign up for giveaways. Nashville Songwriters will perform throughout the event.
South Walton Beaches Wine & Food Festival events are held throughout Destin and Miramar Beach, Florida. All events will take place off of highway 98 at venues convenient to Destin Beach Condos. Tickets are on sale now for one or all events.
