The standard factory steel lines supplied on the 2003-2007 Hummer have recently been plagued with dangerous corrosion and rust, which could lead to a serious failure. Dirt, road debris, salt and road treatment chemicals become trapped around these critical lines causing the mild steel to deteriorate quickly. This can result in the brake, fuel and other lines leaking and failing, and it has become a severe safety condition.
The solution to this problem is installing 100% correct stock replacement brake lines in stainless steel from Classic Tube. These direct replacement stainless steel lines will last indefinitely, resisting rust and salt deterioration.
Classic Tube’s stainless steel brake line kit for the 2003-2007 Hummer H2 is part #HR1001-SS. Also available for increased safety are StopFlex® stainless steel braided brake hoses. The 6-piece hose kit is a direct replacement for the factory rubber lines and is part #SBH6131. As for fuel, part numbers HRF1001-SC, HRF1002-SC, HRR1001-SC, HRV1001-SC and HRV1002-SC cover supply, return and vapor lines, variable depending on the year of the vehicle. Lastly, replacement transmission lines are part number HRT1001-SC.
