TECHNICAL FEATURES

CouCou from Prodigy™ with powered by Cortex processor, is an ultra-low power device that converts any Apple™ iOS™ mobile into a full functional Near Field Communication NFC device to read/write RFID and contactless smart cards operating at 13.56 MHz frequency.

Protocols supported include ISO14443A/B, MiFare Ultralight, MiFare Classic, MiFare Desfire and Sony Felica.

Using low energy Bluetooth, the CouCou connects with Apple iOS device.

Powered by two (2) standard CR2032 Lithium battery, CouCou can support over 1000 transactions over a 6-month battery life time, making CouCou the lowest powered NFC reader.

Prodigy™ provides Demo App and Software Development Kit (SDK) to support iOS APP developers to quickly integrate the powerful NFC functions offered by CouCou into their iOS App.

Use with Transit cards
Read balance value on your stored value payment cards. Load money direct to your payment in the convenience of your home. Very useful for families and any busy individuals.

Electronic Badges and Name Cards
Replace paper printed badges for events/exhibitions to electronic badges. Easy to customize in the field.

Electronic Name Cards
Users can exchange their name card information using by the tap of a button using NFC technology.

Read NFC Posters
Users can collect coupons from NFC posters and easily download later from the mobile.
