Chennai Institute of Technology (CIT Chennai), is a recognized technical co-educational engineering college, located at Kundrathur, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. The college was established in 2010 by the Parthasarathy Seeniammal Educational Trust.

Infrastructure

Laboratories:

At CIT, students are given the best equipments for practical sessions, which are conducted in the finest labs. Physics Lab, Chemistry Lab, Workshop Lab, Computer Lab, Communication lab ( For Fluency in English ), Electrical & Electronics Lab, Manufacturing and Technology lab (Mech Engg), Electrical Circuit Lab, Electron Devices Lab, Strength of Materials Lab, Fluid Mechanics &; Machinery Lab, CAD Lab, Survey Lab are some of the lab facilities offered to the students.

Library:

CIT stocks over 7000 books and study materials for the students&; benefit. Apart from books, periodicals, journals etc, an Air Conditioned Digital library with multimedia material is also available for the students.

Auditorium:

A well lit and built " Shri. Parthasarathy Auditorium " having a seating capacity of 1,500 in 12000 sqft area. This centralized Air conditioned hall has well balanced acoustic engineered designs using sophisticated sound equipment. A fully air conditioned Mini Auditorium having a seating capacity of 400 is ideal for a seminar or conference or Video Conference. A fully air conditioned two seminar hall having a seating capacity of 200 is ideal for a seminar Audio &; Visual facility.

Canteen:

Well balanced and nutritious meals are provided for the students round the clock. There are separate dining halls for girls and boys.

Hostel:

CIT aims to provide all students with high quality, hygienic and safe accommodation to meet individual needs. Separate hostels for boys and girls are available and at present, we can accommodate 500 students. All rooms are furnished with bed, cupboard, etc.

Transport:

CIT has an established bus system which is well connected to most parts of Chennai City and its neighborhood towns.
