MyChores has recently announced that they will start thorough background checks for all drivers. This move of the company is due to the rise in fake driving licenses. In an attempt to curb such fraudulent activities, the company has decided to only include drivers in their database of individuals offering driver services in Mumbai who have passed all the levels of their background checks.
A spokesperson of the company said, "MyChores was formed as a company to offer great convenience to people living in Mumbai. Aligned with that objective, the management has taken the decision of carrying out extensive checks. The background check is mainly to ascertain whether the driver is genuine and able to produce all the credentials that are claimed."
The company has also included police verification as a part of their background checking procedure. This way, they are able to give complete peace of mind to their clients.
"Anybody looking for a driving job and wanting to associate themselves with MyChores will now have to go through stringent checks. This way, we are making hiring a driver an extremely hassle-free task", said an executive of the company before signing off.
