Le Triomphe Golf and Country Club, one of two PGA Tour® host facilities in the state of Louisiana, today announced the details of the second phase of a $4 million renovation project on their championship golf course. Ramsey Prescott, the club’s golf course superintendant stated, "The first phase of the project consisted of an extensive tree project and a bunker renovation and was completed in 2017. We just signed a letter of intent to begin a 100% upgrade of our irrigation system with the most innovative system on the market today." The project, which will enhance consistent playing conditions, is slated for completion prior to the start of the 2019 Chitimacha Louisiana Open. "We have a huge responsibility to our members, our community, and the state of Louisiana," says Le Triomphe general manager Dawna Waterbury. "These renovations and enhancements will help us achieve our #1 goal of product excellence for our members and their guests. Our championship golf course also serves as a venue that assists local charities in raising millions of dollars for their organizations and also and brings professional golf and golf tourism to our state."
