Dr. Darcy Ward and Dr. Jennifer Greenfield, doctors of chiropractic at Center for Chiropractic & Wellness (www.carolinachirowellness.com), a North Raleigh chiropractic center, have announced that Dr. Ward has earned certification from the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association (IVCA) to treat animals using chiropractic therapy. After successfully completing approved veterinary chiropractic training and certification exams, Dr. Ward is certified to treat dogs, cats and horses. Veterinary chiropractic treatment does not replace veterinary medicine, but can provide additional means of diagnosis and treatment.

The International Veterinary Chiropractic Association is a nonprofit international organization dedicated to promoting excellence in the field of veterinary chiropractic. The association establishes and maintains high standards through approved educational courses, certification examinations and a membership code of conduct and standard of proficiency. Membership is only granted to qualified chiropractors, veterinarians and individuals qualified in both professions.
