April Mills, co-chair of the 7th Annual Big Bad Ball (www.bigbadball.com), an event to benefit Hospice of Wake County, has announced that David Crabtree, WRAL anchor, has been named Master of Ceremonies for the Big Bad Ball scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 4 at the Capital City Club, located on the 21st floor of the Progress Energy building at 411 Fayetteville St. Mall. Crabtree serves on the board of directors and the Capital Campaign Cabinet for Hospice of Wake County.

The black-tie event will feature live music, a silent auction, an open bar, heavy hors d’oeuvres and a raffle.
