Anchor Vans wins “Van Dealer of the Year” award for the second year running at the annual Motor Trad

Family-run company Anchor Vans have been awarded UK Van Dealer of the Year Award for the second year running. The used vans company was presented the Motor Trader Industry Award at the Grosvenor Hotel, London by impressionist Jon Colshaw, star of hit TV show Dead Ringers, in recognition of its excellent customer service, its new user friendly website and the huge selection of quality used van stock.

Graham Joyce, Director of Anchor Vans based on the A4 Bath Road at Padworth, says: "We're delighted to have won this prestigious award two years in a row. It demonstrates the high level of customer service that we offer our clients. This has seen our sales increase dramatically to areas around the country including Scotland and we are now able to sell 60 per cent of our vehicles over the telephone."

Graham started the company 18 years ago following his extensive experience running a BMW dealership. The four strong director team are all close family and recently welcomed the next generation as Graham's first grandson, Jack Joyce, was born on 23 July. Sales Director and first time father, Simon, says: "In one week the company received this award and Jack was born. We now have high hopes for him in the sales department but he'll have to start in the valeting department just like I did 18 years ago!"
