Mary Cantando, coordinator for the North Carolina Make Mine A Million $ Business™ event (www.makemineamillion.org), has announced the expert panelists for the event to be held Tuesday, Oct. 7, at the Blake Hotel, located at 555 S Mcdowell St. Each panel member is a woman in business in North Carolina who owns and runs a multimillion-dollar business. Leah Brown, president of Aten Solution, Inc. in Raleigh; Tana Greene, president of Strataforce in Charlotte; and Paula Turner, CEO of LexAir Electronic Sales, Inc. in Greensboro, will speak about how they started their business, what has made their business successful and address challenges for women in business. Each of these panel members represents one of North Carolina’s chapters of the Women Presidents’ Organization, a national organization of women who own and run multimillion-dollar businesses.

Make Mine a Million $ Business™ provides a combination of money, mentoring, marketing and technology tools that help women entrepreneurs grow their businesses from micros to millions. Finalists will be selected from applicants statewide and asked to deliver a business pitch to women entrepreneurs, judges and guests at the event.
