Ryal Curtis Named 24th Annual A Toast To The Triangle Publicity Chair

The 24th annual A Toast to the Triangle ™ is scheduled for March 8, 2009 at North Carolina State University’s McKimmon Center at 1101 Gorman St. As chair, Curtis will be responsible for raising awareness and visibility of the 2009 event.

A Toast to the Triangle raises funds for the Tammy Lynn Memorial Foundation, Inc., which supports the children and adults of the Tammy Lynn Center for Developmental Disabilities. The Center provides programs for children and adults with special needs, including educational services, respite care, early childhood intervention, residential services and a summer program.

The event offers guests samples from more than 40 of the area’s finest restaurants, caterers and purveyors of fine wines and beers, as well as friendly competition among the participants. The 2008 Toast, which raised more than $212,000 for the Tammy Lynn Memorial Foundation, was held March 9 at the McKimmon Center, and more than 1,200 guests attended.
