A website in West Lothian, Scotland, that was declared rubbish by a panel of experts has become the district's fastest growing medium
[ClickPress, Thu Oct 06 2005] AFTER officially being declared rubbish by a panel of 'expert' judges earlier this year, website West Lothian NEWS has turned into the district's fastest growing medium.
In a recent 10-day period, West Lothian NEWS attracted more than 70,000 visitors
The on-line website was set up three years ago by a former local newspaper editor in West Lothian, Scotland.
The website offers news as it happens in West Lothian and has a lively letters page as well as sections for jobs, property, sports and entertainment.
Earlier this year, the website was officially declared rubbish when it failed to even make a short list for the local website of the year awards.
"We don't listen to the so-called experts," said a spokesman for the website, "our readers do our talking for us."
