Educators From Israel Visit Delphi Academy of Los Angeles

A group of six educators from northern Israel visited Delphi Academy of Los Angeles in late July to learn about Delphi’s use of Study Technology. The group was made up of teachers and school administrators from the Israeli schools Kurchak and Ha-Megninm. The tour had the group exclaiming, “We want our schools to be JUST like Delphi!”

Redefining Dog Days of Summer, Home School-Style

The Woodlands, Texas, August 14, 2005. A celebrity appearance by Hank the Cowdog (in reality John Erickson, Hank’s creator) closed the fifth annual THSC State Convention and Family Conference on a sweet note of success. Fun and education took center stage at the annual gathering hosted by the Texas Home School Coalition over the weekend. Thousands of home schoolers made their way from across Texas and the U.S. to The Woodlands to partake in a varied menu of vacation events, field trips, workshops, and back-to-homeschool shopping.

Events like the upcoming annual THSC State Home School Convention and Family Conference on August 11th to 13th strive to provide answers and support families across Texas in making informed choices about their children’s education. Through a combination of speakers, activities and more than one hundred vendor exhibits, the Texas Home School Coalition will highlight the diversity of educational choices within home schooling and beyond.
